Your NASCOE Awards Committee is really looking forward to the coming NASCOE Awards year. We have all observed that our members are the leaders in communities across this country and we feel that they should be recognized for those leadership roles that they play locally. With that we are encouraging each of you to nominate a fellow employee in your county office for a SPECIFIC project that they lead or worked on in their community, their church, their state association, or etc. The nomination form is located on the NASCOE web page and can be easily downloaded. Complete the simple nomination form and submit it to your State Awards Chair who will then submit it to the Area Awards Chair. From there it will be forwarded to the national Awards Chair who will print the certificate and return the completed certificate back to the Area Chair for distribution. By handling things this way all chairs will be aware of who was nominated and receivedcertificates for the “Extra Mile Award.”
I would also strongly encourage all members to recognize their children for their accomplishments in their scholastics, athletics, their church, their community, their 4-H activities, and etc. We just want to show that our “NASCOE Family” is proud of their accomplishments too. You would use the same nomination form and the same process that is used for nominating a NASCOE member. The only requirement is that the child MUST be a member’s child.
The only way that we can have a good year in our Awards Programs is through your willingness to take the time to NOMINATE someone.
